– This trip is a package tour.
– Overnight stays are in closed, mosquito-proof cathedral tents with a standing height of around 2 meters. Sleeping bags and sleeping mats can also be borrowed on site on request (if you do not want to burden your luggage with them). This must be stated when booking
– A camping trip / safari welds together and there is a very familiar atmosphere.
– All travelers are expected to actively participate in the camp when loading and unloading the vehicles (light, reasonable activities), as well as setting up and dismantling the tents.
– The tour guide takes care of the shopping and food preparation during your camping trip.
– The joint preparation of meals, washing up and cleaning up creates a very communal feeling.
– Normal breakfast and at lunchtime there is usually a light picnic suitable for travel. Everyone sits around the campfire for dinner.
– There is always enough drinking water available.
– We usually spend the night in clean, well-equipped campsites with basic sanitary facilities and hot running water.
– In some rare cases we camp “wild”, that is, we set up our camp away from an official campsite. For most holidaymakers, a bush shower and toilet tent mean less restriction than the feeling of limitless freedom.
– Which days of the camping trip these “wild camps” are depends on the route and the season and can be found in the travel offers.
– Please observe all country-specific information for Namibia and South Africa as well as the health regulations and safety information.
– Find out in advance from your family doctor, tropical institute, etc. what precautions you should take for a trip to Namibia.
– Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for northern Namibia.
– Look for your personal first-aid kit.
– Please bring enough sunscreen lotion, sturdy shoes and a hat – our sun has it all.
– This trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
– A transfer from / to the airport before / after the trip is included (except for arrivals or departures earlier or later than the planned travel time.
– Baggage allowance for travel: 15 kg in soft travel bags.
– You must bring your sleeping bag, pillows and towels (a sleeping bag and mattress can be booked for a fee when booking).
– It is recommended that you bring: pillows, a small backpack for your daily needs, money belt, 1 l water bottle, flashlight, sun protection cream, insect repellent, damp cleaning cloths.
– Age limit 12 – 80 years (physical mobility required).
– Active participation in setting up / dismantling the camp and preparing meals is expected.
– The travel route of the trips / safaris depends on the local conditions and weather conditions and is therefore flexible. There are therefore no claims due to a possibly changed itinerary.
An indemnity form must be signed before the trip. Your guide will take care of this.
1.1 The contract with Bundu Tours CC (the company) is activated as soon as the invoice has been issued and Bundu Tours CC has received the required down payment according to paragraph 2.1.
1.2 The contract is subject to Namibian law.
1.3 Any person who makes a booking by paragraph 8.4 automatically accepts these general terms and conditions (contract).
2.1 Bundu Tours CC requires a deposit of 20% of the full amount to confirm the booking. This deposit must be paid by the customer and confirmed in writing (e-mail), see paragraph 8.1.
2.2 The rest of the outstanding amount is payable to Bundu Tours CC no later than 6 weeks (42 days) before arrival in Namibia.
2.3 If the full amount has not been paid 6 weeks (42 days) before arrival in Namibia, as requested, Bundu Tours CC reserves the right to cancel the booking and withhold the deposit and any other payments to cover expenses.
All payment options will be sent to the customer with the confirmation of the booking.
4.1 Any cancellation of a booking must be sent in writing (email) to Bundu Tours CC. Cancellation is subject to the fees set out in paragraph 4.2.
4.2 The following fees will apply in the event of cancellation (as a percentage of the full stated amount):

NB: The cancellation period is calculated from the receipt of the written cancellation up to the date of departure.
4.3 The company will not reimburse you if any of the included activities and/or parts of the trip cannot be used or carried out. This includes, among other things, all meals, game drives, sightseeing flights, accommodation, etc
.
5.1 If the booking is changed to an earlier date, the company will try to take this into account. If the booking is changed to a later date, fees according to paragraph 4.2 may apply.
6.1 Bundu Tours CC always endeavors to carry out the trip at the prices offered, but reserves the right to increase the prices appropriately in the event of unforeseen price increases in fuel prices, accommodation, government taxes, exchange rate fluctuations, etc.
6.2 If the company announces a price increase, the surcharge according to this paragraph must be paid before the start of the trip, otherwise, the company has the right to cancel the trip and withhold fees according to paragraph 4.2
7.1 The company has the right at any time to change the conditions of the booking concerning the itinerary, program, schedule, content, and accommodation at its own discretion. However, the company makes every effort to replace any changes with equivalent alternatives.
7.2 If an alternative is at a lower level, the customer will be refunded the difference. If an alternative leads to additional costs, the customer has the right to refuse this and to request a reimbursement of the related costs from the original travel costs, or the customer accepts the possibly higher costs and pays them back. If the customer rejects any additional costs and insists on a refund, this will be considered a cancellation and will be charged following paragraph 4.2 of these general terms and conditions.
7.3 The customer is not entitled to any reimbursements from the company that could lead to losses due to any changes following paragraph 7.1.
8.1 Neither the company nor any person acting for or on behalf of the company is liable for any loss whatsoever for whatever reason and cannot be held responsible for any loss and/or damage without the limitation of these terms and conditions caused by errors or omissions in the brochures and/or literature, later and/or failure to confirm bookings, loss and/or damage due to delay, illness, injury or death, neither by chance nor by negligence.
8.2 The company has the right at any time to cancel a complete trip or parts of a trip at its own discretion. Such a cancellation would include any circumstance that makes a trip impossible, illegal, unreasonable due to weather, landslides, strike, war, government or other interventions, or other unforeseen circumstances. All related costs would be borne by the customer.
8.3 The company may at any time, at its own discretion and without liability and expense to the company, cancel or cancel a customer’s booking should a customer be ill, behave illegally or impossible while traveling, without the customer’s right to a refund Costs.
8.4 A person who makes a booking with the company (see paragraph 1.1) guarantees that they are authorized to enter into this contract on behalf of the person or persons involved in this booking. The person making the booking is responsible for paying the company the full amount.
9.1 It is the customer’s obligation and responsibility to take out comprehensive insurance for cancellations, medical costs, protection of personal property, and money before departure for Namibia.
9.2 It is the customer’s obligation and responsibility to ensure that the passport and visa are valid for the duration of the trip. The company is not responsible for any visas and/or travel documents required by the customer. If any required documents are missing or incomplete upon entry, the company reserves the right to leave the customer at the point of entry and is not responsible for any further travel arrangements of the customer.
10.1 The customer should be relatively healthy to undertake the trip.
10.2 Malaria prophylaxis is recommended and should be carried out in consultation with a doctor before departure.
10.3 The trip covers a wide spectrum of the African wilderness and neither the company nor any employees or agents of the company can be held responsible for any injuries and/or related incidents during the trip.
11.1 The customer’s luggage is limited to one soft bag per person up to a maximum of 20kg – this includes photo equipment and hand luggage. Hard-shell suitcases are not permitted on camping trips.
11.2 Due to the rough terrain, the company cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss to bags, bag contents, photo equipment, and other equipment. Because of the dusty paths, bags should be largely dustproof.
12.1 The company can act as an agent for the customer when booking rental vehicles, airlines, and/or charter flights. However, the customer remains responsible for compliance with and payment of costs of any contracts with the respective providers.
12.2 Charter flights are usually undertaken with smaller aircraft. Luggage on these flights is limited to 10-15kg per person – all-inclusive (depending on the provider). Because of the hot air and altitude above sea level, these regulations are strictly controlled by the providers

13.1 Personal Information
Bundu Tours CC collects data from customers and business partners and saves them in a secure and encrypted database. Bundu Tours CC undertakes not to sell or provide any data to third parties unless data is requested by a court order.
13.2 Communication
We occasionally send e-mails to our customers and registered business partners to inform them about price adjustments, exhibitions, and other business-specific documents. Our electronic data is handled internally with industry-standard software and all e-mails have an ‘unsubscribe‘ link to delete this data immediately.
13.3 Non-Personal Information
Bundu Tours uses various technologies to collect and store information that cannot identify the customer in any way. This information is used to analyze the traffic on our website to be able to offer a better service.
13.4 Changes to this Agreement
This security agreement is subject to change without notice.
